    On-Chain Glossary

A plain-English reference for the terms you will see when tracking wallets on Solana. Bookmark this page whenever a concept needs a quick definition.

    Smart Money
Capital controlled by experienced, well-informed participants. On-chain, it refers to wallets whose trading is consistently profitable and risk-managed.
    Wallet Address
A public identifier on a blockchain that can send and receive tokens. On Solana it is a base58 string; all of its activity is visible on block explorers.
    On-Chain Data
Information recorded directly on the blockchain — transfers, swaps, and balances — that anyone can read and verify.
    Win Rate
The percentage of a wallet's tracked trades that were profitable over a measured window. A high win rate suggests discipline, not guaranteed profits.
    PnL (Profit and Loss)
The realized and unrealized gains or losses of a wallet's positions, usually expressed in a base currency or SOL.
    ROI (Return on Investment)
The percentage gain or loss relative to the amount invested. Often annualized or measured over specific windows like 7 or 30 days.
    Drawdown
The decline from a portfolio's peak value to its trough. Lower drawdowns indicate better risk management.
    Liquidity Pool
A pool of tokens locked in a smart contract that enables decentralized trading. Solana pools on platforms like Raydium are where most swaps happen.
    DEX (Decentralized Exchange)
A protocol that lets users trade tokens directly from their wallets without a centralized intermediary.
    Meme Coin
A cryptocurrency driven primarily by community and culture rather than fundamentals. Highly volatile and high-risk.
    Micro-Cap Token
A token with a small market capitalization. Micro-caps can move dramatically on low volume, amplifying both upside and risk.
    Copy Trading
Automatically replicating another wallet's trades. Convenient, but it transfers that wallet's risks — and losses — directly to you.
    MEV (Maximal Extractable Value)
Value that can be extracted by reordering, including, or excluding transactions in a block, such as front-running swaps.
    Slippage
The difference between the expected price of a trade and the price at which it executes, common in low-liquidity tokens.
    Gas / Transaction Fee
A small fee paid to process a transaction on the network. Solana fees are typically very low compared to other chains.
    Block Explorer
A tool (such as Solscan) for viewing on-chain addresses, transactions, and token activity. The source of truth for verification.
    Token Swap
Exchanging one token for another, usually via a DEX liquidity pool rather than an order book.
    Whale
An address holding a large amount of a token or capital. Whales can move markets when they trade.

    Financial-Risk Disclaimer

Elite Wallets provides analytics and information, not financial advice. Cryptocurrency trading — especially meme coins and micro-cap tokens — carries substantial risk of loss, and past performance never guarantees future results. Never invest more than you can afford to lose, and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
